Greetings all,
So you might have noticed over the past two weeks that we have been hard at work
Justin has been busy talking to new publishers and getting new shows setup. In addition, he is organizing a beta test for our new publishing UI. In about a week, a number of hardcore Justin.tv fans will get the opportunity to publish live on our network. If you are interested - there is still a little room left - please email info@justin.tv.
Emmett has been spending long nights perfecting the publishing system as well as building a top secret project that will be released very very soon.
Jacob has been tirelessly working to make everything look good and is also designing the new frontpage for our network - stay tuned for some tasty previews.
Kyle is spending day and night kicking ass and taking names on our backend. He know that a lot of people want to start broadcasting on our network so he is making sure that everyone's stream is working flawlessly.
Our interns, Daniel and Shooby, have been knocking out a bunch of projects including setting up hardware for our new publishers and researching new online markets that we hope to tackle very soon.
Finally, I have been working on the business stuff. I cannot provide too many details - but all is going well and we have a roof over our heads and enough food to eat
So thats about it. Before I say goodbye I want to thank all of our great lifecasters and our great viewers!
Bye,
Michael
PS: We are hiring!

Introducing PHasion and Wild 94.9
Greetings All,
So this week as I am sure you have already noticed - we have launched two great new shows. Thanks to Mashable and Wired for welcoming Parris Harris (PHashion) and Wild 94.9 to the Justin.tv Network. Also thanks to Justin and his brother Daniel who worked very hard to bring these two shows online and our tech team (Emmett, Kyle, & Jacob) who made the transition flawlessly. Now for a brief description of our new lifecasters:
Parris Harris aka: PHashionJustin first met PHashion about a month ago when he was invited to PHashion's fashion show in Oakland. Needless to say - Justin was impressed. The first words to come out of his mouth when he got home were "we need to get that guy a camera!" On Monday, that statement became a reality. PHashion will be a show about a young and upcoming fashion designer (Parris Harris) as he explores and sets trends in the LA and SF fashion scenes. I found a great interview that can fill some information about PHashion's goals and design philosophy here. We all look forward to following PHashion on his fashion adventure and I think we are all in for a crazy ride.
Wild 94.9
The Bay Area's Hottest Hip-Hop/R&B Station
In more technical news, we changed out our IRC backend (again) to include increased authentication and the ability to embed moderation tools into web chat. In addition, Kyle beefed up the streaming media backend to accommodate a large number of incoming broadcasts. Finally Emmett this week is introducing an all new tip algorithm and Jacob is working on a super secret and super allstar new project (I can't say more... sorry).
Stay tuned for more updates!
Peace,
Michael
PS: I know I'm a bit late to the game here but I took my first look at Justopia's blog this morning and I must say I am truly impressed. So impressed in fact that I added a new fan blog link roll to our blog. Justopia - ROCK ON!
PPS: Justin did a bearcast the other day - need I say more.... (link)
Wild 94.9The Bay Area's Hottest Hip-Hop/R&B Station
When we first got to San Fransisco, Justin and I flipped on the car radio and got scared. Where is the Rap/R&B and what is this "San Francisco music?" Finally, we got to 94.9 and immediately programmed it into the car radio. You don't know how close I was to turning the car around and driving back to the East Coast. Anyways, after Justin.tv launched - Justin got linked in with the Wild crew and before long found himself backstage at the Wild 94.9 Bomb Concert. He got to meet all the hottest music stars on the radio right now (Bow Wow, Ciara, T-Pain, etc). Then when we stared to open our network and 94.9 wanted in - how could we say no? On this lifecast you should expect both the in studio perspective of being a radio jock/DJ and the traditional out and about lifecast from the Wild 94.9 street team. Also - btw - all the top 40 artists come through their office so expect to see some serious star power on this broadcast.
