The Fiesta Movement and Justin.tv

We wanted to let you know about an interesting campaign Ford is putting on - they're putting 100 people in the US into a brand new Ford Fiesta for FREE for 6 months. And get this - they're even covering gas and insurance! They want some of the most prolific JTV broadcasters to submit some videos to compete for the 100 slots. Here's the info on the campaign:



The Fiesta Movement from Ford:

• The Fiesta is a highly anticipated small car debuting in 2011 here in the U.S.
• Ford is bringing 100 cars here early for a six month test drive for 100 socially active drivers (gas and insurance covered, too!)
• Drivers will also receive a secret mission each month (make a dress with a famous designer, jump in a race car for 50 laps, etc.). Drivers will be expected to stream live during the missions.
• We're looking for Justin.tv's top personalities who will broadcast as much as possible during the 6 month experience with the Ford Fiesta. We'd love to see your video submissions, so get to work!

Here’s how to apply:

• Cut a 2-5 minute video about yourself and upload it to YouTube (be sure to tag it with ‘fiestamovement’). For examples of what other people have submitted, check out www.fiestamovement.com.
• Give us your full contact info and details at: http://www.fiestamovement.com

That’s it! But you only have until March 13th to complete your application and upload your video. That’s less than three weeks, and they are already reviewing applicants right now. In other words, they want to see your smiling face on video ASAP.

Jonas Brothers Live - 2/21/09

Hundreds of thousands of fans joined us last time to see Kevin, Nick, Joe and several special guests during a live web chat in January. We're thrilled to see them return to do a third live chat with their fans, this Saturday February 21st at 11:00am PST.

Next Friday, the Jonas Brothers The 3D Concert Experience debuts in theaters and they are looking to make opening weekend the biggest ever! Check out their new website FanFamilyExperience.com to get more details.

New feature and contest!

Great news everybody!

I'm really excited to announce a couple of things that effect you guys as the community. First off we're launching a couple week contest! With the help from the guys at Cheddr Media, I'm thrilled to announce the launch of our Justin.tv Addicts Anonymous contest.

Think you're the biggest Justin.tv addict? Prove it to us! Submit either a Justin.tv clip, photo or something in writing telling us how you are the biggest Justin.tv addict. Then the community votes! The top entry wins a Nintendo Wii. Special thanks to Cheddr Media for help us with this contest and making this all happen!

New Features!

As mentioned previously, Justin.tv supports h.264 broadcasting thanks to all of Kyle and Eric's hard work! Now I'm thrilled to announce that H.264 archiving is now fully functional. Eric has spent a great deal of time making this happen and finally any video broadcasted in h.264 can be archived, clipped and clips have thumbnails!

Also, if you haven't checked around the site lately, we have a constantly updated Help Resources to guide you through the most commonly asked questions, to tutorials to tips and even now we've recently added a Safety Resource Center which can help you with some more in depth Community issues.

Custom Gifts

By popular demand, we're now taking custom virtual gift requests from Justin.tv users.

To submit a custom virtual gift, all we need is a 90x90 high-res vector and a name for the gift (up to 13 characters).Remember don't send anything obscene or objectionable as all gifts are approved by Justin.tv staff.
