JTV Anniversary Bash Wrap up!

The 2nd year anniversary party was a hit! Tons of people from the SF bay area joined us and seemed to have a great time. We got to see lots of familiar faces from our broadcasters, new people as well and tons of fun was had.

I want to write up a special thanks to two people who helped me coordinate this party: Krystyl, one of our long time JTV broadcasters and Brandon Baker of the Otis Lounge in SF who helped us get the event catered. Brandon does business development and event planning in San Francisco.

Also special thanks to Otis for hosting us and most importantly thanks to those of you who showed up and watched us live while we broadcasted the event. We were proud to celebrate two years of Justin.tv!

Broadcast and Watch in Widescreen

If you'll notice on all channels you can now watch broadcasts in widescreen. If you look below the video window you'll see the link for "Wide". You can also, through FME, change the size of your video to broadcast in wide screen.

For example, instead of the standard 320 x 240 you could broadcast in 800x450 and your video can be watched in widescreen. If you want to check out a channel that has been making use of our new widescreen capabilities, take a look at Dead Pirates Studios. These guys have a great feed and always push the boundries of broadcasting capabilities.
